Terms of Use

By creating a MedLiam mailbox, you accept these terms. MedLiam is operated by Medtra Inc. (Quebec, Canada).

The service

MedLiam provides an email mailbox (@medliam.com address) to send and receive messages. The base plan is free; paid plans (Plus, Premium, Family) add storage and features. The service is offered as is and may evolve.

Paid plans

• Prices in Canadian dollars, monthly or yearly. GST and QST are added to the displayed price. The full yearly amount is shown next to the equivalent monthly price.
• 14-day free trial, once per person: nothing is charged during the trial. Without a valid card at the end of the trial, the plan stops.
• The plan renews at the end of each period (month or year) on the card on file until you cancel it. A yearly plan is paid in advance for the year.
• You can cancel anytime in Settings → Plan. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, then your account returns to the free plan.
• Family plan: the subscriber can give a code to 5 people, who pay nothing and get the Premium benefits. If the subscription ends, those accounts return to the free plan.
• Subscribers from before October 14, 2026 (former Pro, former Family): your price doesn't change, and you get the Premium benefits.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; MedLiam never sees or stores your card number. The charge appears as “MEDLIAM”.

Your account

• You are responsible for your password and for the activity on your account.
• One address per real person. No mass automated accounts.
• You must be of the legal age required in your jurisdiction to enter into a contract.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MedLiam to:

• send spam, phishing, malware, or fraudulent content;
• impersonate others or falsify email headers;
• break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• harm the service or attempt to access it without authorization.

Abuse may lead to the immediate suspension of the account.

Availability

We aim for high availability, but the service is provided "as is", without warranty against interruption or loss. Make your own backups of important messages.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Upon closure, the mailbox and its contents are deleted.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is published on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada.
